NEW BOUNCY CASTLE CAFE IS OPEN

A NEW bouncy castle cafe for parents and families has opened at H Church's base, the Purple Sheep Centre.

The Pen Cafe has already seen hundreds of people through its doors.

Children are loving the giant Purple Lambs bouncy castle, Wendy House and front garden with play equipment. Other features include

Great home-made burgers, fabulous coffee, children's meals and quality well priced paninis.

Newspapers, Sky News on large plasma television, friendly staff and wireless internet.

The cafe is open Thursday and Friday from 10am till 4pm, and Saturday 10am till 2pm. The bouncy castle is free on Sundays with a lighter cafe menu available from 1pm.

A prayer room and pastoral room is available as well as a facility to have your needs prayed for through the week by pastors.

There will be life-changing messages over 9 Sundays over July and August to help all people.

The messages will be alongside live music, fun and free drinks and cake at Priory Community School in Worle, Weston super Mare.

EX CRIMINAL INVITES PEOPLE TO EXPLORE CHRISTIANITY

A FORMER criminal turned church pastor is inviting people to ask their hardest questions about Christianity during a new course.

Mark Rowan is the assistant pastor of H Church in Weston, eight years after turning to the faith from a lifetime of crime and seeing his life turned round for the better.

Now he is urging people to examine Christianity as a lifestyle by hearing about the faith on H Church's Christianity Explored course starting on Friday 6 June at 7pm at the Purple Sheep Centre, H Church's base in Hughenden Road. A free meal will be on offer to visitors by calling 01934 620500.

Mark said: "If you've never explored the faith, this is a great chance in a relaxed way to find out. And you can ask any question you want and we will try to answer."

'H'S TO HELP YOU THROUGH LIFE

H CHURCH will start a series of messages on Sunday 1 June to help you through life.

'H's to help you through life will tell you how to see your hurts healed, your problems overcome, miracles in your life and to have a fantastic future.

Then in July there will be a 9 week series helping you to be happy.

Senior Leader Shane Dean said: "The H in H Church is about many things but a key one is in Helping people. In these series we aim to do just that."

Shane Dean, H Church Senior Leader, will teach a short message to help you beat the modern plague of loneliness.

The 1 hour service at Priory School in Worle starts at 11am followed by free coffee and cake at 12noon.

Shane said: "Loneliness is terrible but there is a way out.

"God wants us living a life to the full but loneliness can stop that."

It features great coffee and snacks and lots of children's fun to entertain the children.

The cafe will then the launched on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May with a fun day round the Purple Sheep Centre.

HOW TO STOP WORRYING

So on Sunday at H Church you can hear how to stop worrying for good.

The one hour service begins at 11am with live music and ends with a short message.

Senior leader Shane said: "The old English word Worry means 'to strangle' and worry does just that. It strangles the life out of you.

"That's why God who loves us doesn't want us to do it. Come on Sunday to hear how to overcome worrying."

H CHURCH'S family cafe - The Pen - will be launched on Thursday 8 May.

Then a Fun Day to officially launch the Purple Sheep Centre will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 26 May.

The cafe will feature children's fun, relaxation for parents and a prayer room will be on offer.

EX-CON TO TELL PEOPLE HOW TO BE HAPPY

A FORMER serial criminal marks an amazing turnaround in his life this Sunday.

Mark Rowan will teach people how to be happy at Priory School on Sunday at 11am.

But only 8 years ago Mark finished the last of his stretches in prison after years of hard crime.

"I was a 24-hour criminal," said Mark. "The only time I went to church was through the roof. Now I'm speaking in the church and want to tell people that they too can have incredible happiness."
